Craft, Creativity and you

New for 2026! We are offering a variety of Craft Courses just 10 miles from Cardigan, West Wales. You can choose from a half-day taster session to a detailed 6- or 10-week course. Contact us for more information or to make a booking!

Pottery hand-building courses

Half-day taster workshops: Join us for an opportunity to try your hand at pottery hand-building. You will make pinch pots, slab items and small bird sculptures. At the end of the course your work will be carefully dried for a week and then fired and clear-glazed.

Six-week courses: As well as hand-building your own creations, you will be introduced to the wonderful world of pottery colour. You will learn to use glaze, underglazes and slips, decorating your pieces so they come to life.

Ten-week courses: This includes everything on the six-week course, as well as an extra four sessions to build your own showstopping item. You can be inspired by our suggestions, or come with your own idea. Animal sculptures, decorative wall plaques or a set of hand-painted plates – wherever your creativity leads you!

All sessions are for a maximum of four people, so you are guaranteed the attention and personal guidance of your experienced tutor, Michelle Dunn, who uses her pottery in gardens and garden design.
